Abstract

         The research was conducted in the District Sagulung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and discipline to the performance, both separately (partial) and collectively - together (simultaneously).          In this study, the authors use the method of sample with a total of 35 people to serve as respondents of the total population (employees). While the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data obtained from questionnaires to employees in the district kompoten Sagulung While the secondary data obtained from the District Office Sagulung and documents obtained from the literature - literature-related and can support as well as useful for this research. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, which are used to describe the objects that give an overview of the study through the data with methods drawn from a population sample obtained in the field associated with the theory - a theory that is relevant and quantitative techniques to the analysis of the data that has been given a score according to the measurement scale used is the Likert scale and the results of the test using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 20.         From the research, the authors conclude that the partial leadership style (X1) and a significant positive effect on performance (Y), with test results for 0919 or 91.9%, and Discipline (X2) is also a significant effect on performance (Y), it can be seen from the test results for 0884 or 88.4%. Then the simultaneous testing Leadership Style and Disciplinary positive and significant effect (strong) on Employee Performance in Batam City District Sagulung to sled for 0834 or 83.4%, as for the rest of 0166 or 16.6% influenced by variables or other factors.

Abstract

Pembangunan ekonomi nasional Indonesia merupakan upaya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam (SDA) untuk peningkatan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Potensi pembangunan ekonomi bagi masyarakat pesisir khususnya rumah tangga nelayan di Batam memerlukan pengembangan perilaku ekonomi.Perilaku ekonomi RT nelayan merupakan reaksi nelayan atau anggota keluarga nelayan untuk melakukan sikap atau tindakan (kegiatan) ekonomi yang dapat menghasilkan produk (barang atau jasa), karena adanya rangsangan (stimulus) dari dalam dirinya maupun dari luar, baik secara langsung atau tidak langsung. Sehingga terjadi perubahan perilaku yang mendorong tingkat perilaku untuk menghasilkan produktivitas kerja atau usaha (output) dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya di lingkungan pesisir dan laut. Perilaku ekonomi RT nelayan skala kecil dalam memanfatkan sumberdaya pesisir di Batam umumnya meliputi aktivitas ekonomi : tangkap ikan, pengolahan hasil tangkap ikan, bercocok tanam dan peternakan.Penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan alat bantu AMOS 21 sebanyak 121 sampel. Hasil penelitian bahwa, faktor yang dominan membentuk perilaku ekonomi RT nelayan skala kecil di pesisir Batam adalah: bercocok tanam (1,488), disusul oleh peternakan (1,479), pengolahan hasil tangkap ikan (1,314) dan tangkap ikan (1,000). Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan ketahanan pangan atau keberlanjutan ekonomi bagi RT nelayan skala kecil di pesisir Batam selain tangkap ikan yang sudah menjadi kegiatan utama, harus didukung oleh kegiatan alternatif yakni bercocok tanam

Abstract

Any company that has been established to have hope that someday in the future will experience rapid growth in the scope of business of the company. The problems that arise are: a) Is the style of leadership has a significant influence on employees' performance in PT. Barelang Maritime Training Centre?, B) Does the communication method used has a significant influence on employees' performance in PT. Barelang Maritime Training Centre?, C) Is the style of leadership and communication together have a significant effect on employees' performance in PT. Barelang Maritime Training Centre?, D) which of the variables between the leadership and communication that has the most dominant influence in improving employees' performance in PT. Barelang Maritime Training Centre. Data used in this study is the primary data from respondents as many as 65 samples from a total of 168 population. Analysis of the questionnaire answers are distributed to employees of PT. Barelang Maritime Training Centre conducted with SPSS program for Windosws menggunakaan relase 17:00 to test the effect of variable leadership style and communication of employee achievement. The results of this study is that there is influence between the variables of leadership style and employee communications for partial achievement. It is known through the significance of regression coefficients smaller 0.05. Equation is Y = 8328 + +-0.233X2 1.205X1 Variable greatest impact on employee productivity is a style of leadership shown by the regression coefficient of 1.205. While the smallest variable is a variable influence Communications. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination or R2 of 0.909 or 90.9%. Means that 90.9% variation in dependent variable is a variable level of job performance on the multiple regression model can be explained by the independent variable is the variable leadership style and communication while the remaining 9.1% is influenced by variables other than multiple regression models.

Abstract

The existence of human resource in the company has a very important role. Business domain nowadays forced to create high employee’s performance to company development. A company has to create and increase performance. In a way of increasing employee’s performance, company takes some ways such as giving a proper compensation, motivation, create a support working area, education, and training. Nowadays, business competition that became tighter make the company confronted with challenge to maintain viability.This research was held in PT. Djarum Tbk. This research use Compensation as Independent Variable, Motivastion as Intervening Variable, and Performance as Dependen Variable. The goal of this research is to analysis compensation’s influence to employee’s performance through motivation as intervening variable. Sample that used in this research are 57 PT. Djarum Tbk employees with using simple random sampling method. Analysis that used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, model test, regresion and intervening test. Those data that had been processed produce  regression equation below : Based on t-test and first linier regression above show us that compensation has a positive and significant influence to motivation and on the second linier regression show us that compansation and motivation has a positive and significant influence to performance. And based on those two linier regression’s above we can do ntervening test, so its show that motivation can be a intervening variable because of standardized coefficient’s calculation for indirect influence of compensation to performance through motivation is bigger than calculation for direct influence of compensation to performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini, dilakukan di PT. Veronika Prima Sanita Batam. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh akuntansi manual terhadap keputusan manajemen pada PT. Veronika Prima Sanita terutama manajemen keuangan.            Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan sistem wawancara  kepada manajemen dan bagian Accounting. Sedangkan jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari data dokumen PT. Veronika Prima Sanita yang berhubungan dan dapat mendukung serta berguna bagi penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Qualitatif Descriptif dimana penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran terhadap yang diteliti melalui data wawancara dan dokumen yang di berikan dan dihubungkan dengan teori – teori serta memberikan kualitas terhadap penelitian ini.            Dari hasil penelitian penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwa sistem yang dipakai dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan pada PT. Veronika Prima Sanita masih menggunakan sistem manual yaitu dengan menggunakan miscrosoft Exel dan sangat mempengaruhi sekali pada pengambilan keputusan manajemen keuangan yaitu terhambat dalam mengambil keputusan karena tidak tepat waktu dalam penyelesaian laporan keuangan. Dan penulis berharap suatu saat PT. Veronika Prima Sanita dapat memakai sistem komputerisasi dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan sehingga bagian manajemen keuangan tidak terhambat dalam mengambil keputusan.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Succes Djas Support. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of Leadership Style and Incentives to Employee Performance. In this study, the authors used a sample of 35 people who were taken out of the total population (employees). While the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data obtained from questionnaires obtained from employees of PT. Succes Djas Support. While the secondary data obtained from the document PT. Support and Success Djas of related literature and can support as well as useful for this research. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive statistical method that describes and gives an overview of the object under study through the data with methods drawn from a population sample obtained in the field associated with the relevant theories and techniques of quantitative analysis of the data that has been given a score according to the scale of measurement used the Likert scale and the results of the test using SPSS 17. From the research, the authors conclude that partial Leadership Style (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), with the t test results counted at 2,226 while Incentives (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) , it is seen from the test results of 3,330 t counted. But simultaneously Leadership Style and Incentives has a positive and significant effect (strong) on Employee Performance in PT. Succes Djas Support, with the value of F counted 18 703.

Abstract

This study examines the level of tax compliance in Batam city district by using several independent variables such as income levels, quality of service tax authorities and the taxpayer awareness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of income levels, service quality, and taxpayer awareness of the compliance of land and building tax payments. The population in this study was based on data from the KPP Pratama Batam in 2012 as many as 58.595 SPPT propagated by NPWP. Sampling was done by the method Slovin. Number of samples was determined as 397 people. Primary data collection method used is by using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this study is the technique of multiple regression analysis.Based on the results of the analysis carried out it could be concluded that the level of income and quality of service tax authorities do not have a significant positive effect on adherence property tax payments, but the taxpayer awareness variables have a significant positive effect on adherence property tax payments.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of location and service quality to the customer satisfaction of product Kredit Cepat Aman (KCA) at PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Bengkong UPC Pondok Asri Batam. The population that used in this research is the customers that have transaction at PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Pondok Asri Batam on April 2013 amounting to 645 customers. While the sample are 86 obtained from the calculation using the Slovin formula. This study was conducted by using multiple linear regression with quantitative analyzes, t-test (partial), F test (simultaneous) and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the research results can be concluded: that location variable has influence but not significant to customers satisfaction but service quality variable has positive influence to customers satisfaction partially. Service quality variable becomes dominant variable which have influence to the costumers satisfaction based on calculations the analysis standardized of coefficients beta has the greatest value. Conclusion of this research is location and service quality as important variables that influence to customers satisfaction. However, it is suggested to the employees of PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Bengkong UPC Pondok Asri Batam have to maintain the service that have given to the customers and also upgrade it to gain better customers satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of products and services to customer satisfaction. In this study, customer satisfaction is the dependent variable. There are two variables that serve as the independent variable is the quality of products and services. The sample used in the study is that consumers. The population used in this study is 60 consumers. While the sample used as many as 60 by using the census as a population of less than 100 people, then it is better researched everything. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, which aims to determine the correlation between the two variables. Hypothesis testing is done by t test and F test and R2 test. Analysis of the data with the help of statistical data processing software SPSS version 20. Based on this study concluded: there is a positive and significant influence between product quality and consumer satisfaction, and no significant positive effect between service and customer satisfaction, as well as a positive and significant influence between product and service quality to customer satisfaction. The variable quality of the product into the variables dominant influence on customer satisfaction is based on the calculation of beta coefficients Standarized analysis has the greatest value. The conclusion from this study is the quality of products and service as important variables that affect customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is recommended that the company pay more attention these two variables so that consumers feel satisfied and achieve the objectives of the company are expected.
